Magical results win innovation award for pure mascara brushDEFINITION
Geka will attend this year’s MakeUp in Paris trade fair to share its latest application solutions for liquid cosmetics with the industry. The pureDEFINITION mascara brush will be one of the highlights of the showcase of the event’s products.
The applicator, qualified as âperfectâ by the exhibition’s expert jury, won GEKGekaA an IT PRODUCTS prize for innovation.
The pureDEFINITION mascara brush is a new design created using GEKA’s bi-injection sandwich technology. Many molded mascara applicators are made from a single plastic, which means the bristles are tough and too harsh for sensitive eyes.
Geka’s Sandwich technology combats this problem. Here, a bi-injection process makes the brush from two different plastics, allowing the applicator to have both a hard core and soft bristles.
This combination creates a brush that curls, lengthens and separates lashes while remaining gentle on the eyes.
Its alternating rows of tapered bristles and thin wedge-shaped discs provide the optimum amount of product for beautifully elongated and defined lashes.
âWe are delighted that another of our high precision beauty applicator solutions has won a prestigious IT PRODUCTS award,â said Frédéric Duquet, Head of R&D and Innovation at Geka.
âOur mission was to develop an applicator that delivers high impact but effortless results, even for the thinnest and shortest lashes. It is truly rewarding to be recognized by industry experts. We look forward to meeting everyone at MakeUp in Paris to talk about our products and learn about all the fantastic developments in the beauty industry.
