In case you somehow missed it, MultiVersus Developer Player First Games and Warner Bros. Games previously announced that season 1 of the free-to-play brawler was delayed indefinitely. This delay included Morty’s delay of rick and morty so, who should join MultiVersus at the launch of Season 1. Over the weekend, however, the developer of MultiVersus teased what players can expect from the upcoming Season 1.
The new season tease didn’t exactly come out of nowhere. If you somehow missed it, the popular fighting game tournament Evo 2022 took place in Las Vegas. Many video game developers are taking the opportunity to make announcements about various fighting titles, and MultiVersus was no different. According to the look on what happens MultiVersus Season 1, there will be a new ranked mode, a classic arcade mode, and new “variants” (or skins in the usual lingo) for characters like LeBron James and Bugs Bunny. “We want to let everyone know that we are postponing the start of Season 1 and the release of Morty to a later date,” the official said. MultiVersus The Twitter account indicated when Season 1 was initially delayed. “We know this might be disappointing for some and want to assure our community that we are committed to delivering new and exciting content that will delight players.”
As stated above, MultiVersus Season 1 currently has no release date due to its recent delay. In general, MultiVersus is currently available in open beta on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. The video game is a free-to-play platform fighting game focused on 2v2 teamfights. The title includes full cross-play support as well as server-based restore netcode.
